The 29th Street Community Center builds and strengthens neighborhoods and people by bringing together residents of Baltimore City through meaningful community building and high-quality enrichment programming for all ages and backgrounds.

29th Street offers free programs for the whole family, from elder arts to family jams to cooking classes. Check out our events listing below, and we hope you’ll join in the fun!
Our $1.1 Million renovation is complete, and we moved back into the Center in September 2025. We can’t wait to show you around when you come to one of our free community programs!
On Friday, January 20, Mayor Brandon Scott and Councilman Robert Stokes presented the 29th Street Community Center with a check on behalf of Baltimore City for $65,000 towards our programming! We are so grateful for their support!
The 29th Street Community Center is looking for dedicated community members who love Baltimore to join our Board of Directors! Nominate yourself or someone you know for this critical and rewarding role.
We offer free year-round care to our neighborhood children. Afterschool Program and Summer Camp are some of our highlights!
Our community programs are designed for adults, seniors, and families, and include health and wellness activities, creative arts, and athletic programs.
